NitroCapt is a climate-tech innovator revolutionizing one of the world's largest chemical processes: The nitrogen fertilizer production. Using only air, water, and renewable energy, we create the world's most sustainable and cost-efficient technology for fixation of nitrogen from the air to make fertilizers.
As global demand for food increases, nitrogen-essential for plant growth-plays a crucial role. However, today's nitrogen fertilizer industry is heavily reliant on fossil fuels, contributing to CO2 emissions equivalent to those of the global aviation industry.
Our award-winning solution offers a rapid pathway to a decarbonized nitrogen fertilizer industry, providing a business model that not only reduces emissions but also increases profitability for our customers compared to fossil-based fertilizers, and contributes to a resilient food production. We're now looking for a Senior Material Specialist in High Temperature Ceramics to lead collaborative projects with industry partners, academia, and institutes within ceramic materials and design. In this role, you will drive the project that pushes the boundaries of ceramic system design for chemical reactors and heat exchangers. What you will do:
Lead innovation: Drive R&D projects in collaboration with academia, suppliers, and industry partners.
Ceramic expertise: Apply your in-depth knowledge of ceramic materials to design systems and components for advanced chemical reactors and heat exchangers.
Design excellence: Utilize your expertise in FEM analysis, mechanics and production to ensure efficient and high-performing designs that can be industrialized. Work with 3D design software tools to bring innovative ceramic designs to life.
Implementation and testing: Test different material and component designs and implement the results in pilot plants and industrial settings.
Project management: Act as a bridge to external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with academia, institutes, and suppliers.

Master's degree or higher in material science, mechanical engineering or a related field.
5-10+ years of experience of R&D in an international environment.
Deep knowledge about ceramic materials, their manufacturing and applications.
Proficiency in 3D CAD design and strong understanding of FEM analysis.
