Tetra Pak offers a truly challenging and highly international work environment for the right experienced and skilled legal counsel.
The Services Organisation of Tetra Pak is experiencing a strong growth. An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right skilled legal counsel to join the Tetra Pak Legal Affairs team as responsible for the legal support to the Tetra Pak Services Organisation.
The Legal Affairs function is headed up by the Group General Counsel who leads a team of world class senior lawyers, patent and trademark attorneys and corporate governance and risk management professionals.
This position will report to a Legal Affairs Vice President and will work in close collaboration with Tetra Pak's service business stakeholders and a team of experienced in-house lawyers both centrally and in the regions in which Tetra Pak operates.
This position is based in Lund, Sweden.
Main responsibilities
• Advising business colleagues on all types of legal issues which arise in the course of conducting a sophisticated services business (e.g. support related to negotiations and contracts, business models, claims, disputes, competition law, insolvency, export control and other regulatory issues)
• Advising stakeholders on complex legal and business risks across multiple jurisdictions
• Helping to develop and implement policies, processes, template agreements, checklists and other tools
• Providing training and knowledge sharing to the business organisation and legal colleagues
• Selecting, managing and developing external legal advisers
• Participation in stakeholder leadership teams
Qualifications
We are looking for a person with in-house experience supporting a well developed after sales and service organisation.
You are a highly skilled and professional individual with highest integrity, with a law degree from accredited law school. You are trained in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualified experience in advising business in multinational companies. organisation. A strong competition law background is a plus.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent drafting skills.
As a person you are a driven, energetic, well-organized and a resourceful self-starter. You manage the ability to make clear, timely and well-reasoned decisions under significant workload and time pressure. You are practical, persuasive and a team player, capable of balancing dual roles in a global legal team and in relevant business teams. You have excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with a drive to enable the continued success of our business.
