Many of today 's societal challenges are expected to be solved by technology development and the Volvo Group (VG) is investing heavily in Research and Development (R&D). In order to fully leverage our R&D investments, it is necessary to strengthen the alignment of the innovation, technology and regulatory strategies and agendas to prepare our organization for the future.
Through internal and external collaboration, PPSO is instrumental to the VG in order to drive and maximize the technology and product synergies and to accelerate innovation by e.g. capturing opportunities to leverage public and private partnerships.

We are looking for a Senior Leader- Public Projects
Your main responsibility is to identify opportunities for public partnerships and to build and secure public projects that captures the potential to leverage and maximize synergies and investments. You will have an active part of the VG Public Partnership interface and representation with networks including authorities, corporations, suppliers, customers, and academia. You will act as a trusted ambassador for Volvo Group by interacting with a wide area of stakeholders utilizing our global presence as trusted thought leaders.
Other responsibilities will be to:
Secure a Volvo Group approach towards public partnership opportunities supporting ongoing business as well as creating new opportunities
In collaboration with relevant VG functions drive public partnership and project prospects to initiate, build, support and follow up public partnership project possibilities
Represent the VG and advocate VG positions and priorities in relevant external forums
Contribute to build and execute the public partnership strategy
Promote the findings and success of public projects to build Volvo Group's reputation as an innovative technology leader
You will report to the Director Public Partnerships.

Other qualifications:
Master's degree in relevant area. MBA is a plus
Many years of experience from technology product and/or business development in large multinational company
Long experience from driving public partnerships initiatives and projects with strong strategic capabilities and mindset
Experience and deep knowledge of the Volvo Group, particularly in technology and/or automotive industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
