There is now an opportunity for you to join us in the development of our new products. Volvo Group Trucks Technology has an increased need of skilled engineers within the electrical components group located in Gothenburg. The team in Gothenburg is a mix in age and gender, we have a atmosphere where we help each other and enjoy working as a team. We are looking for new employees with passion to work and develop sustainable transport solutions with pioneering products and services for the transport and infrastructure industries.
The role of a component owner
The component owner drives his/her component from beginning to end having responsibility for the supplier interaction and the creation of the technical requirement for the part.
Also securing all internal stakeholders like purchasing, design, aftermarket and production are onboard understanding the impact of your component.

Who are you?
If you a have a true interest in HMI components like Stalks, Gear lever lunit ,joysticks, switches and have a strong drive this will be a job opportunity that fits you well.
As a person we believe you have a structured way of working and a quality mindset. It is vital to be able to build good relations and collaborate with colleagues globally and therefore we believe that you would have excellent English communication skills. In addition to this, you are interested in building the future roadmaps utilizing your analytical skills. It is also important that you are able to work independently and take own initiatives.
Qualifications
• M.Sc in Engineering
• Preferably experience from the automotive industry
