Working as an E-Motor Control engineer means that you and your team will play an active role in this exciting journey, developing some of the most vital components for our electrical motors.
More specifically, this job will take you to the very core of development where you will model, design, test and implement the electric motor controls for both existing- and new car models. You will find yourself In a Simulink- and MatLab based working environment where you will do model-based software development directed towards the ISO26262 application standard.
It's important that you enjoy working with multidisciplinary systems and develop things from scratch. You will be positioned in our Software & Electronics Department and be based at our main production facility in Ängelholm, Sweden.
We are looking for software developers with several years of working experience with model-based development in Matlab and Simulink. You need to have strong C-programming skills and the ability to work on bare metal programming.
Further skills wanted:
- Experience in model/software development for PMSM motor control for Electric vehicles or DC-DC/DC-AC control applications
- Experience in implementing FOC/Vector control with field weakening MTPA control, functional safety, and control loop tuning.
- Basic understanding of position/flux observers.
- Experience in working with ISO26262 application standard is ideal but not a requirement
As a person, we believe it's important that you can work both independently and in teams. You are a curious and structured person who has a talent for identifying bottlenecks and who utilize planning to overcome hurdles and making sure that we understand the critical path.
Furthermore, you enjoy going outside of your comfortzone as this role will require cross-functional cooperations. Thoroughness also plays an important role as documentation is an important part of the developing process
