Are you seeking an opportunity to influence in a new exciting area of technology? Do you also wish to be part of a team with value-creating development in focus? We need an experienced designer to help us with the challenge of developing the modular battery for heavy trucks and buses. Previous battery knowledge is meritorious but certainly not a must, you contribute with your design experience and we will help each other develop our battery technology knowledge.

The Battery Module team is responsible for the development of the internal structure and the electric, thermal and dynamic properties when integrating battery cells into electric trucks and buses. In close collaboration with battery cell development, purchase, after market and production you will develop the battery platform of the future for Scania and TRATON Group.
What do we seek?
We believe that it is important that you are driven and can handle responsibility as the job would contain the development of new components and be responsible for said components. Working in an agile cross-functional environment requires good communication with people from different working areas and being able to contribute with a team spirit will lift the team and improve the work done.
• Experienced mechanical engineer in sheet metal design
• Communicative team player with cross functionality in focus
• Agile development mindset
• Experience in designing for manufacturing
• User of CAD / CATIA V5
