hela Sverige Would you like to work in a team dedicated to Product certification to customers? Its' a position where you will work close to the customers with high voltage breakers. Do you thrive in an environment where teamwork makes up an essential part of your day? As project-driven Senior Design Engineer or Design Engineer at HV Breakers, your challenge will be to produce mechanical drawings, electrical circuit diagrams and documents according to the customers specification, for example from the 3D CAD program Pro/Engineer and E3. You will work in a team dedicated to Product certification to customers. Since you will be responsible for the design parts of our projects, you will team up with the customer's sales people, order managers, Front End Sales to make sure that certified products are processed throughout the organization and delivered to our customer in the correct way. As your area of responsibility will cover several countries, you will gain valuable international experience at the same time as you get the benefit of travelling with work. You have a technical high school diploma along with extensive design experience. Alternatively, you hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering with a major in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. As you will work in a global company it is crucial that you, apart from Swedish, are fluent in written and spoken English. It is very useful in this position to also be fluent in another language like German, Italian, French and Spanish. It is also positive if you have worked in 3D CAD (ProE), electrical CAD (E3), MS Office, Business system (ERP-LN) and the document management program ECM (Documentum).
In addition, experience from work in smaller projects, is qualifying. You have integrity and a technical interest as well as the enthusiasm and creativity required to come up with ideas and solutions. You can apply a long perspective in/to your work and always finish what you set out to do. Moreover, you appreciate working with your colleagues and understand the importance of investing in long-term customer relations.
You will be part of High Voltage Breakers in Ludvika. We are a business unit within Power products and have worldwide ABB responsibility for development, production and sales of high voltage breakers for power systems within both AC and DC. New products are developed and tested in our high voltage laboratory and the market is found both in Sweden and in other parts of the world. The high voltage breaker is an essential part in a reliable and energy efficient power system.
