What you will be a part of
Saab Kockums provides design, construction and in-service support for advanced naval systems such as surface combatants and submarines to the Swedish Armed Forces and other customers worldwide. Our product portfolio consist of the air-independent Stirling system, mine countermeasure systems and submarine rescue systems amongst other. Saab Kockums operate in Karlskrona, Malmö, Muskö, Järfälla and Singapore.

Your role
We are now looking for a Commersial Manager who is responsible for the commersial part of new international contracts. That means conduct proposal preparation, pre-contract data collection, negotiation and administration of government, commercial and international contracts. Reviews contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, prime contract specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreements. You will report to the head of the bid centre and work closly with the product sales manager
Your skills and experience
Experienced Commersial Manager with at least 5 years of experience in contract management in complex international business environment;
Excellent understanding of legal documents;
Working knowledge of contracting concepts; international contract law or public contract acquisition law and regulations;
Effectively communicates both verbally /writing in English
Effectively uses problem solving skills and analytical thinking;
Business understanding to separate out the important commercial items in a contract.
Understanding of the effective conduct of negotiations 'discipline' to secure contracts with good margins and terms & conditions
Excellent team worker;
Self-driven, flexible, creative and result oriented;
• Willing to travel abroad.
Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English is necessary.
