a. The main responsibility of the SBD is to secure funding for initiatives within the scope of the Mission Statement, and lead the process in designing innovative methodologies and present them to donors ranging from multilateral, national, private, public, and any other funds deemed appropriate.
b. The SBD strategically positions UBI within the relevant markets to secure partnerships and potential partnership funds for expansion.
c. A digital pipeline (trello) is created for both hard/soft targets and timelines for submission to the Board, in addition to periodic updates on prospective business development, projects, and partners in addition to existing business.
2. Coordination & Branding
a. A comprehensive, digital mapping of ongoing potential partners both from relevant corporations, potential non-profits, as well as Swedish and international academia and supporting organizations to define entry points and added-value to UBI Globals's client base and programming.
b. The SBD is continuously 'plugged in' to relevant, discussions, legislation, in SE and abroad to report back to the CEO and marketing team for potential dialogue of future expansion.
c. Comprehensive key messages are developed to 'occupy' a concrete, defined niche area of incubator and startup collaboration in cross-cutting sectors via SM campaigns, conferences, and media/events.
3. Implementation & Management
a. The SBD will assist the CEO, International Client Manager ,and Project Manager in the implementation of new partnership strategies and proposals for expansion. .
b. The SBD will also assist in client support and account maintenance and management and assist with meetings, reporting, financial agreements, and product development & expansion..
c. The SBD will forge, expand, and maintain critical partnerships with new stakeholders as the business expands to minimize the distance between corporations and local talent pools, via visits, scoping, attending events, and strategically inviting key partners to provide input into specific programming processes.
• International education is preferred, including in Sweden and ideally the U.S., Master's Degree minimum in Social Sciences, Business, or related field
• Experience working in the public sector, particularly in the legislative branch with the topics of Labor, Immigration, and Innovation is valued, at least 2 years.
• Experience with international charities, donors, and/or multilateral organizations in the fields of Private Sector Development Micro-SME generation and support, and the design of such programs thereof, of at least 4 years.
• Previous relevant experience with Public-Private Partnerships, assembling large conferences is a merit.
• Fluency in English, Russian, and Spanish is a core requirement as this is where we seek to expand our collaborations geographically, and more.
• Experience working as a consultant in communications in the former CIS, in Russian is highly valued.

The Senior Business Developer will assist the CEO in strategy and fundraising in the continuous promotion of the UBI Global Brand and Study, including the Global Benchmark. This includes the development, marketing, partnership, and coordination of prospective partners as UBI Global seeks to bring larger corporations closer to academia, governments, and grass-roots organizations.
