Your role
As a Senior Automotive Thermal Management Engineer at Etteplan, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced thermal management systems for automotive applications. You will design and optimize thermal management strategies to ensure efficient cooling and heating of various vehicle components. Developing software algorithms and control strategies for thermal management systems, will need your expertise in software development.
A typical day for you will consist of collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal management solutions into vehicle platforms, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. You will also utilize the cutting-edge testing facilities at Etteplan to conduct simulations and testing, validating the performance and efficiency of thermal management systems and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Your profile
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
* Extensive eperience in automotive thermal management system design and development.
* Strong proficiency in software development for automotive applications, including experience with C/C++, MATLAB, and Simulink.
* In-depth knowledge of automotive thermal management concepts, including cooling systems, HVAC, and powertrain cooling.
* Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations.
Fluent spoken and written Swedish and English skills are needed for this role as well as the ability to effectively lead a team-oriented enviornment.
