GVA is growing rapidly and as a result we are now seeking a technically savvy, analytical and team oriented Senior Hydrodynamics Analysis Engineer.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:
• M.Sc. degree in Naval Architecture (preferable), Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• 3 + years experience of structural analysis of ships and floating offshore structures.
• Knowledge in the area of fatigue analysis, practical experience is highly regarded.
• Knowledge in the area of buckling analysis, practical experience is highly regarded.
AS A PERSON YOU SHOULD:
• Communicate effectively with all levels and disciplines and build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote collective achievement and teamwork and understand how own behavior impact on others.
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze complex engineering issues and effectively solve problems through gathering relevant information and expert input.
• Possess the ability to plan and organize through excellent time-management skills and taking own initiatives to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
