Who are we and what can we offer you?
We are small team who under the lead of the Volvo Group Security Officer, and in collaboration with the TD/BAs, drive and support the delivery of security services for the protection of Volvo Group's people, information, products and assets. We enjoy having a proactive way of working and have the belief that the best results are achieved together.
This job is an opportunity to take the lead in how Volvo Group, who also has impact on the society in whole, manages its protective services and work to prevent for crises of different complexity. Your work will be very important and this is a chance to actually affect something big - the whole Volvo Group and indirect also our society.
What will you work with?
• Lead business critical and complex protective programs. This includes managing and supporting the development, implementation and continuous refinement of protective service policies, directives, standards, guidelines, procedures, tools and instructions
• Support Volvo Group Security 's regional organization and coordinate incidents
• Partner with other functions across the company, and externally, to ensure a high quality in the protection of the company. For example, by supporting the Crisis Management program
• Manage the travel-, expat-, and executive security program
• Oversee the Crisis management program
You will work closely together with the regional security organization to support security investigations and contribute to the development and delivery of global Security strategy, programs and priorities and the response to incidents. You will be part of the global Security 's network where all support each other and act as a back-up for other regions when needed. You will be treated as the expert within the area of protective services.
You will report to the Group Security Officer.
You will participate in campaigns with law enforcement and industry bodies to improve public sector agencies' response to crime. To gain access to public enforcement communities at a national level is challenging by the nature of the work; therefore, we expect you to be a highly credible and experienced professional, to be able to engage these communities and successfully articulate and win proper support for Volvo Group's position and expectations.

Who do we believe you are?
To begin with we think you are a dependable relationship builder with the ability to gain and maintain trust. You have a high professional level and great capability of engaging others. We also believe you have:
• A relevant degree or comparable education (or combination of these), preferably from the national law enforcement
• Extensive experience with law enforcement or military
• Experience in conducting and overseeing complex global response
• Significant experience in conducting complex risk assessments and recommending mitigating actions
• Experience from an international corporate security environment
• Proven track record supporting crisis management teams with little or no supervision
• Experience of leading a people security program
• It is an advantage if you can understand and express yourself in a Scandinavian language
