I-Talent Programme? What's that?
You are important to us and that is why we want to invest in you! During six months you will get all the training and support you need to quickly become a skilled IT professional. And we give you the opportunity to work together with truly awesome colleagues, and to get an extensive network within Scania.
The program combines working with training in a variety of different fields. To be more precise, you will work in a team at Scania and you will have your particular role and responsibilities. Your daily work will be combined with coaching, training and mentorship, customized for Scania and for you, to make the most out of the six months in the program.
I-Talent Programme is an initiative started in 2015 at Scania IT, aiming to employ newly graduates who has their interest and heart within tech. Scania IT has great experience in developing talents. As a proof of this, most of the previous I-Talents still work at Scania. They are IT Professionals working in self-supporting teams as system developers, BI developers, front end developers, requirement analysts, IT Security specialists, Scrum Masters, Project Managers and much more. Simply put, they do really cool things and play a key role in Scania's success.
What's in it for you?
During the program you will be working at Scania in a specific role within one of the many great teams. Together with your fellow IT talents, you will get to learn more about the company through different activities, you will receive technical training as well as learn more about yourself in workshops that aims to develop you both as a person and as a professional. All of this is done together with dedicated teachers. To your support, you will have a "buddy" from Scania as well as being a part of a mentor program.
For this program, we are looking for IT talent who see their future within backend development, frontend development, big data, machine learning, project management, test, requirement analysis and much more.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for IT graduates who have the potential and desire to become T-shaped IT Professionals at Scania. This means having the ability and the drive to acquire knowledge both in an overall perspective and in certain areas in depth. Applicants should hold a relevant Bachelor or a Master degree.
Furthermore, we are looking for committed and motivated individuals who seek continuous improvement. You need to be innovative, a good team player and see your future in tech.
All positions are located at Scania in Södertälje and the program will start in the beginning of September 2019.
Written and spoken English is required. Skills in Swedish is needed in some of the teams, but is considered a merit in others.
