• Prepare and deliver lessons to high school students and/or middle school students on a wide range of topics in biology.
• Evaluate and grade students' class work, laboratory work, assignments, and papers.
• Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
• Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments and handouts.
• Supervise students' laboratory work.
• Keep updated of developments in your field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues or participating in professional conferences.
• Plan, evaluate, and revise local curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to address pedagogical issues.
• Work as a mentor and support the students' academic and social development
ProfilWe would like you to have:
• A teaching degree in Biology
• Knowledge of IB Diploma Biology program.
• Knowledge of Nordic educational practices and traditions.
• Knowledge of a Nordic language and knowledge of French is a bonus
• Prior experience of teaching Physics and Chemistry.
• Prior experience of teaching in middle school.
• Working knowledge of teaching in a 1-1 environment
