Perfect! We are happy to announce that we are looking for a Sales Structure Specialist for our Price Management and Sales Information team at Volvo Penta.

This is us, your new colleagues

We are a team of six people working with Price Management for the Marine segment and Sales Information for both the Industrial and Marine segments.

We are responsible for setting up the sales structure in the sales configurator, which is used globally by our salesmen and partners for configuring, pricing and quoting our offer to the customers.

Our group is also responsible for the production and publishing of sales information such as product fact leaflets, technical data and order specifications for our Industrial and Marine power systems.
This information is also used by our sales staff and sales engineers all over the world.

We also work with Price Management for the Marine segment, where we together with the markets set up the global price strategy for our products and create price lists for our markets throughout the world.

Job Description

Your main responsibility will be to set up the product sales structure, including technical and market rules, in Volvo Penta's sales configurator.

You will take an active part in product development projects and work in close co-operation with many departments within the company, such as Product Development, Sales Engineering and the Product Planning Departments. The people you work with are based in Sweden as well as the U.S.A. and other parts of the world.

Volvo Penta is right now developing our sales offer through electromobility, automation and connectivity, which means that we have a challenging but exciting future ahead of us. We are also replacing our current sales configurator, so you will play an important role in the development of the new configurator and the set-up of our current and future sales offer in the new tool.

Other responsibilities are:
Setting up the product sales structure together with Product Development
Supporting the markets with configuration related issues in the sales configurator
Maintaining sales related information in Volvo Penta's web based Sales Support Tool
Supporting Product Planning with sales structure related issues
Supporting Application engineers concerning drawings and technical data
Supporting the logistics department in sales structure related issues
Supporting Global Aftermarket concerning installation related information
Maintaining Volvo Penta's Product Master Data Management application, PMDM

You are structured, have an attention for details and a drive to explain complicated things in an easy to understand manner. You are analytical and enjoy problem solving, and might even be the type of person who enjoys solving Sudoku or crossword-puzzles. You are outgoing, as well as independent and used to taking your own initiatives. Your co-operative skills and networking competence is of great value since you will be in contact with many people within our organization.

Qualifications:
Good knowledge in engine technology
Experience of Volvo Penta's product offering is an advantage
Experience of Volvo Group's Product Development System (KOLA) is an advantage
Experience of working with sales structure is a merit
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Good communication skills in English and preferably Swedish
Experience from graphic related software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Visual Studio is a merit
