We are now looking for a Sales Manager to Akzo Nobel Paint and Coatings, Retail team in Sweden
You will lead and motivate a sales team to develop sales and maximize profit as well as grow market share. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of international projects in your area.
You report to Nordic Retail Sales manager and will have 7-8 direct reports. The position is based at our site in Sege, Malmö.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Profit & loss responsibility for your team
• Customer relationships with largest accounts on a country/area level
• Manage and develop existing customers
• Coach, develop and motivate field sales team and Key Account Managers
• Cooperate with local activation team
• Responsible for appropriate forecasts within own customer list
• Control and report all deviations
• Plan and accomplish sales meetings, promotions and incentives
To be successful in this position you should hold a relevant university degree.
You have at least 3-5 years' experience from sales management and/or Key Account Management. Experience from the paint industry or a similar industry is a great advantage.
You are a focused, analytical and hands-on person with good planning and organizational skills. You are communicative with exceptional negotiation and presentation skills. You are well skilled at coaching and motivating sales teams, setting and follow up objectives and communicating goals. You have a strong preference to drive changes and improvements with high engagement in the organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English are required as well as a good understanding of the other Nordic languages.
