An exciting opportunity has arisen as the Global Sales and Marketing Division at Kongsberg Maritime is looking for a new Sales Manager to strengthen our team. In this role you will be part of a sales team located in Kristinehamn and work in close collaboration with regional sales, naval campaign managers and product divisions to maximize customer opportunities for our global Naval market.
As Sales Manager, you will play an active role by leading and developing business opportunities from concept to contract, turn an inquiry into an attractive offer and negotiate profitable contracts with our customers. You will work in an exciting international environment were travelling globally to meet our customer will be part of your job.

Qualifications and experience
Preferably a bachelor's degree in engineering, sales, business economy or equivalent work experience. Previous sales and negotiation experience is an advantage, but we are also looking for you who have a technical interest and aspire to work with sales. A competitive and winning mindset where curiosity, responsiveness and an interest to make business is key to succeed in this position. To build customer relations on a global market you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
We appreciate your working approach characterized by taking own initiative, communicate and in a reliable way influence and build a network of contacts. Your interest and ability to analyze and identify commercial opportunities to increase our business growth and profitability is important.
As we work with customers from both the commercial and naval market segments, security clearance and export control are both required for this position and questions related to citizenship will be part of the selection process.
