Commercial Operations has the global responsibility for the strategies, operations and control of the Scania-owned sales and services companies and business units.

Commercial Operations provides support to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies.

Scania has ambitious growth targets the years ahead. To reach those targets we do not only need an excellent product portfolio of vehicles and services, we also need to approach new and current customers in an efficient and professional way! This is what we are focusing on at department BVS, Sales Management and Support.

Our task will give you as our new team member a unique insight into, and an opportunity to further develop, how sales is managed at Scania. From corporate level, all the way out to the dealers in our global retail network.

Role and responsibilities
In short, the task of a Sales Development Manager is to support the Scania retail organisation in improving sales performance and sales efficiency. In doing this you will.
• act as a consultant towards our Business Units, also hands-on at dealer level, using various methods to improve the local way of working up to our global standards.
• work with the customer value in focus; promoting cooperation between the vehicle and services sales force at all levels to bring professionalism to every customer meeting.
• address Sales Management topics in our organisation, to drive active management of the sales process and coaching of the sales force.
• collect and put demands on central standards, tools and sales- and management training.
