What you will be part of
For more than a year, you will participate in an international programme that is uniquely designed to boost your career as well as to provide you with the right toolbox to develop as a leader. From day one, you will be appointed to a position with permanent employment at one of Saab's sites worldwide.Department Vehicle Systems develops and supports advanced vehicle-based electronics and sensor systems for demanding environments on international markets. The department has about 75 employees and is based in Linköping.You will work within the Product Area Vehicle Electronics, which is responsible for developing, manufacturing and selling computer and video systems for vehicles and handheld soldier systems. Operations include system integration, development of embedded computer systems and customer support in areas such as computer technology, advanced video transmission, displays and sensor integration.To learn more about our electronic solutions, please visit the website:

During the programme, you will get the opportunity to create an overall understanding of the company that will prepare you for an exciting future together with us. Your development will be aligned with Saab's business goals and the programme will enable you to contribute to our business and take part in actual Projects.We are now looking for a smart and driven Project Manager with a strong will to continously learn and develop. In your role as Project Manager you will have the overall responsibility for budget, quality and deliverables within your project(s). You will also be expected to further strengthen long term customer relationships as well as participating in bid work together with our sales teams.Working as a Project Manager will provide ample opportunities to further develop your leadership. Your ability to build and sustain effective communications and good working relationships with different roles involved in the project is critical for project success.You will report directly to the department head and work closely together with other project managers within the section Business Execution and Support.

As we are looking for future leaders, you need to have a genuine interest in people. You have an overall business understanding, possess a strategic thinking and deliver excellent results. Your motivation and commitment help you, and people around you, to perform on a daily basis. To apply for this program you have a maximum of 2 years work experience.This opportunity requires a highly motivated team player with management and leadership skills along with an analytical mind. You have a strong business understanding, customer focus and ability to utilize your cultural awareness and solid language skills to effectivey work in an international Environment.Furthermore you have the ability to take decisions to improve profitability and project execution, interest in leading change and courage to challenge the status quo. Last but not least you have skills to combine strategic thinking with operational actions and attention to detail. Some positions have tasks including defense secrecy. In such circumstances you are required to conduct a security screening in accordance with the Protective Security Act and be approved for security clearance by the authority.
