What you will be part of
For more than a year, you will participate in an international programme that is uniquely designed to boost your career as well as to provide you with the right toolbox to develop as a leader. From day one, you will be appointed to a position with permanent employment at one of Saab's sites worldwide.
Support and Services (S&S), a business area within Saab, provides a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to defense and commercial customers for cost-effective support of systems and platforms throughout their lifecycle. Business unit Gripen Support manages all Gripen-related activities within S&S and is a key player for customers and partners. The Project Office within Gripen Support supplies the Programs and Projects with Project- and Sub project managers and work strategicaly with competence and education, process methods and tools, resources and monitoring and Control.
Your role
During the programme, you will get the opportunity to create an overall understanding of the company that will prepare you for an exciting future together with us. Your development will be aligned with Saab's business goals and the programme will enable you to contribute to our business and take part in actual projects.
After the programme is finished you will start working as a junior project manager at our unit. You will plan, execute and follow up the progress in a project assigned to you. The programme will help you develop the project management skills needed and fast track your ability to take on larger projects ahead.
Your skills and experience
As we are looking for future leaders, you need to have a genuine interest in people. You understand that communication, collaboration and curiosity are essential success factors for a business to grow and for people to thrive at their workplace. You are flexible, humble and spread positive energy. You have an overall business understanding, possess a strategic thinking and deliver excellent results. Your motivation, drive and commitment help you, and people around you, to perform on a daily basis. To apply for this program you have a maximum of 2 years work experience.
We think you have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in either economics or engineering.
Some positions have tasks including defense secrecy. In such circumstances it will be required of you to conduct and receive an approved security clearance by responsible authorities.
