Ericsson is now heavily investing in the future 5G technology where in-house IC development is key. Accordingly, we will strengthen our RFIC design team in Lund, Sweden. We are looking for RFIC Design and Validation Engineers, who will work as part of a team developing state-of-the-art integrated RF/mixed-signal transceiver ICs. The teams are responsible for the full IC from the early phases to the final product approval. Sounds interesting? Apply now!
The ideal candidate will have the skills necessary all the way from architectural choices, specification and implementation of IP-blocks to validation of the component in lab. But we are also hiring persons with expertise in only parts of the development flow.
The projects are often driven multi-site. Good cooperation skill and team work is needed.
We are looking to fill several positions of varying seniority, we are interested in discussing job opportunities with very senior RFIC designers, but also with less experienced RFIC engineers.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Architectural choices taking into account the existing product requirements and target specifications
Specification on block level
Design and layout on transistor level
Design documentation
Support and perform layout, test and system engineering through the various phases of product development.
Evaluation and debugging of the IC in the lab
Lab Validation of the IC, including test SW

Requirements
MSEE or PhD degree.
Skill to design, simulate and verify circuit performance at transistor level and at behavioral/architectural level
Experience of mm- wave design is beneficial
Experience of being RFIC block responsible
Experience with state-of-the-art design tools
Previous experience with cellular standards
Previous experience with RF design in CMOS technologies
Communication and presentation ability in English
Highly motivated, self-driven way of working
Good cooperation skill
