The StO/DtR (Sales to Order/Delivery to Repurchase) department is the largest delivery unit in Gothenburg offering a broad range of opportunities for personal development. We are delivering global IT solutions in the areas of CRM, Retail, Customer Loyalty, Service & Repair and Parts Logistics. Our employees work in global teams with all the Volvo companies and take on challenging assignments in our deliveries covering the complete product life cycle including new development and projects.
Our role is to provide expertise in our customers' focus areas. Maintain a high quality of deliveries and maximize the business value of IT solutions in the Volvo Group.
Retail Support Technician
We are looking for a skilled professional in the area DtR.
You will work in the global Application Operation Management (AOM) team for area Nordic there you will support and maintain the Volvo Truck dealer application GDS (The Global Dealer System). You will work proactively to deliver a high quality and cost efficient service and act as a 3rd level support for the application. It's important that you understand GDS and how it interacts with other applications.
Your profile:
You are an experienced customer oriented technician with the ability to keep many tasks in the loop. You have the ability to collaborate in teams as well as being an independent driving force.
We want you to have:
• Good knowledge of system I (AS400, iSeries)
• Experience of CL programming and SQL
• Experience of application maintenance and support
• Good knowledge and technical understanding of VCOM, VIDB and System i SOE software
General qualifications and skills:
• Academic qualifications within relevant field
• General knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process
• Willing to work in a global environment and in projects
• Excellent command of spoken and written Swedish and English
• Communicative team-player with cooperation skills
• Proactive and with a strong drive to continuously challenge and improve
