The division offers cutting-edge expertise in areas such as sensor systems, automation, printed electronics, AI and data science, cyber security, visualisation, interaction design, fibre optics, sustainable transport and circular business models.We are looking for a Researcher with expertise in nitride materials technologyPlacement: Lund About the positionWe are looking for an expert in nitride materials technology to join us in developing novel and disruptive semiconductor technology. The position is specifically connected to a three-year research project aiming to develop the next generation of GaN power electronic devices. The project work is done in close collaboration with a European consortium and multiple Swedish partners. You will be part of a team of experts in power electronics, epitaxy, characterization, device fabrication and packaging. As a researcher in this project your main tasks will be to analyze and contribute to synthesis of GaN structures based on nanowire technology. Your work will include planning experimental work, carrying out clean-room processing, structural characterization, electrical characterization, epitaxy, evaluation of results and dissemination.We offer a fixed-period employment of 30 months placed in Lund with frequent travel to Linköping. Possibility of permanent employment after the fixed project periodWho are you?We think you have a strong research background and hold a Ph.D. in physics, materials technology or equivalent. You are an expert in semiconductor materials and processing. You have experience with synthesis, device fabrication and characterization of nitride materials, clean room processing, experimental methodology and electrical test equipment.
