Consultant Assignment as Junior Scientific Expert
On behalf of one of our clients we are looking for a dedicated Junior Scientific Expert for a temporary assignment. The client operates on a European level and is based in Stockholm. The assignment will start in January 2017 with the possibility for an extension up to a total length of 12 months.
As a Junior scientific expert your main responsibilities will be:
• Support the work of the EVD Programme (Emerging and Vector-borne diseases)
• Assist the EVD Programme with the project management of two framework contracts (VectorNet and Guidance - data collection and scientific advice on tick-borne diseases). This task includes monitoring of the projects, close contact with contractors and review of deliverables.
• Contribute to the production of advice and assessments related to EVDs
• Assist the EVD Team with EVD surveillance activities

Publiceringsdatum2016-10-07KvalifikationerWe are looking for candidates with a scientific degree at University level, e.g. university degree in biology, medicine, veterinary medicine, social sciences, epidemiology, or related fields.
Some professional experience would be advantageous and knowledge of the field of EVD is a requirement.
For this position we require excellent oral and written English, good administrative and project management skills, scientific writing skills as well as presentation skills. As a candidate, you should also have the ability to work in multi-cultural environment.
The ideal candidate is an ambitious person, with a high level of responsibility and the ability to take own initiative. You have a good sense of accuracy and have great attention to detail. We expect you to be a strong team player with excellent organizational and communication skills.
