Role Summary/Purpose
We are seeking a research engineer to Application section of Consumables Upstream & ReadyToProcess department. The Applications section is responsible for verification, validation and market support applications for our products in the midstream-downstream segment. This is a hands-on working mostly in labs, performing verification, validation and applications testing.
Essential Responsibilities
• Functional verification of systems (instrument and software)
• Develop methods and perform verification, validation and applications
• Write reports and present results verbally
• Independently plan and accomplish tasks assigned by Project Manager or Section Manager to reach given project objectives
• Independently solve problems and troubleshoot issues to enable project progress
• The work involves international contacts as well as close relation with other departments/sections within the company
Qualifications/Requirements
• MSc or similar competence in Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related area
• Skills in downstream processing, including filtration of biomolecules
• Technically skilled and experienced in verification and validation
• English as working language
• Excellent computer skills and ability to work in both common lab/office software plus specific internal systems
• EU work permit
