Job Description
Business Area Markets maximizes the value of Vattenfall's portfolio by optimizing and dispatching, hedging and sourcing for Vattenfall's assets and sales positions. We offer power purchase agreements to operators of wind or solar parks, optimize 3rd party batteries and enter into origination deals within the B2B segment. We serve as Vattenfall's single market access to energy commodity markets trading in electricity, emissions, fuels, freight, and renewable certificates. We are responsible for generating profits by taking positions within defined risk mandates and limits. We are active across Europe with more than 560 professionals working from Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands, and Denmark.

BA Markets is now looking for the right person to fill the position as Renewables Portfolio Manager at our office in Solna, Stockholm within the Renewables Portfolio Management Team.
About the position
Build out, maintain and monitor our international green product portfolio with regards to Power Purchase Agreements for renewable energy producers and respective industrial offtakers
Drive the interface to our sales and origination desk as well as our important stakeholder in BA Wind and BU Assets
Price and advice on main risks connected to complex Corporate PPA and PPA transactions and find solutions to connect them to Vattenfall steering model
Understanding of the renewables product process chain from first offer phase, during operations and necessary adaptions as well as the phase out at the end of the contract lifetime
Lead the development & cooperation of external partnerships for the commercial success of our deals
Self-driven surveillance/monitoring of relevant market an regulatory changes in order to master chances & risks of our products
Ad hoc analysis of our products, customers & various data pools
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who enjoys building long lasting relationships with diverse groups of people. You value openness and can use your superpowers of communication and collaboration to enhance the goals of our company through your interations with various customers and stakeholders within the company and externally.
In addition, you have the following
Completed commercial or technical university studies or comparable degree
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience and distinctive experience in the energy trading industry with a track record on renewable energies
Deep understanding and network in the renewable energy landscape especially in the Nordic market
Experience with respect to complex process and interface structures beneficial
Team player with excellent communication skills and solution orientation
High degree of initiative and independent working style
Proficiency in English (written & spoken) is a requirement and proficiency in Swedish is a merit.
