Klarna is looking for a Release Manager to the office in Stockholm, Sweden

We are seeking a Release Manager with at least 7 years experience. Klarna is all about change hence a Release Manager is needed to enable even safer and simpler software releases. The Release Manager ensures that new software is released from development to production.

You will establish procedures, develop tools and support both engineering and operation. You further develop the release process to scale, to be efficient and transparent and to be aligned with Klarna?s high quality standards. The team coordinates and pushes new releases to the production infrastructure. You are in the midst of change and loving it.

Responsibilities:
• Own, manage and improve our release process
• Own and improve automated testing?
• Build and maintain tools needed during release pushes
• Plan, push and publish new releases

As Release Manager you should have a strong familiarity with software configuration management systems and/or source code version control systems; Git experience highly meriting. You should also have extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux, skill with one or more scripting languages, and experience with build management tools. Experience automating release and build processes is highly desired.

You enjoy the challenge of introducing and enforcing release management and have worked in IT with projects and change management. You don't give in when it comes to assuring high quality deliveries and you see communication and expectation management as key in release management.
