The past a few years have witnessed frequent bilateral high-level dialogues, increasing cooperation in all fields, and growth in trade and mutual investments between China and Sweden. China has become Sweden’s largest trade partner in Asia and a vital business partner. With the growing amount of bilateral trade and investment between Sweden and China, Bank of China Stockholm is proud to be the first Chinese bank open in the Nordic Region. Bank of China Stockholm currently focuses on offering China-trade and related global business products and services to the Nordic market. It aims to bridge the trade to China and provide its customers professional and tailored business solutions.
We are now looking to recruit a Relationship Manager under our Business Development Department/Corporate Banking in Stockholm Branch.
General Responsibility:
As a part of Business Development team you will be focusing on both maintaining the relationship with existing clients in Sweden and developing new clients in Sweden and other Nordic regions and working with strengthen their relationships. Following Bank of China’s overseas business development strategy you will have an important role in giving companies advice and guidelines on how to achieve their financial goals and implement long and short-term financial plans.
The successful candidate will be responsible for looking after customers with their business requirements by offering the best solution possible and expanding new business opportunities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Provide loan, trade finance service towards corporate clients
• Carrying out financial modeling, then developing and presenting appropriate financial solutions to clients
• Identifying new business opportunities
• Liaising with the chief executive and chief finance officers of large organizations
Basic Requirements
• University Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Economic, or relevant subjects
• Several years experience of account management and/or sales in corporate banking
• In-depth corporate credit background and knowledge of corporate banking, project finance and trade finance
• Proven experience of relationship building and selling to senior executives within large corporate organizations in the local market
• Detailed and up to date knowledge of Swedish Financial Markets
To be successful it is important that you possess a good team work spirit, as well as excellent communicate skills. Further, you acquire a positive and cheerful disposition in all work situations. Also you are able to work under pressure and independently. Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English, speaking in Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus.
