About the job
As a Regional Engineering & Operations Manager you will create and develop a strong level of performance and competency across the Nordic Region.
This will include such key tasks as Office Management for the Gothenburg colleagues, Rail Head compliance and Strategic Locations review and support to Nordic Filling Plants (Sweden, Denmark and Finland). The role will also manage the current logistical teams in road and rail operations.
The Regional Engineering & Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all site operations are able to deliver the highest standards of safety, performance and legal compliance across all areas of the Operational network.
In addition to many exciting tasks, you will be responsible for:
* Support the Logistics & Operations Director Region North with regulatory site inspections to ensure that we are operating safely and effectively always.
* Management of pre-planned site spot checks.
* Rail Head location evaluation following the Nordic strategic plan on current and potential site locations.
* Maintenance of mechanical equipment through external servicing and legislative certifications.
* Regional point of contact supporting Commercial teams and direct relationships with Rail and Road hauliers.
* Ensuring that teams are held accountable for their performance against both budget and company KPI's.
* Effective close out of Near Miss reports and accident investigations to help support trend analysis.
You will have the opportunity to work remotely, but main work location is our Office in Gothenburg.
In this role, you are responsible for a team of 6 people and you report to the Logistics & Operations Director Region North which is located in the UK.
About you
In order for you who are applying for this role to get the best conditions, we believe that you have industry experience at least 15 years in similar industry with ADR regulations in either the LPG or chemical markets.
You may have a bachelor's degree or you have gained this experience through work in this industry for a number of year.
We want you to have operations experience with a minimum of 10 years of management and leadership exposure. Leadership skills, High commercial acumen, stakeholder management, strategic planning, decision making and contingency planning, quality and efficiency focus, safety driven, awareness of local HSSE and legal regulations, cost management.
As a person, you are positive, independent and good at listening and communicating in a constructive way. You enjoy having many contact areas in your work and team spirit is important to you. You will have the opportunity to work with exciting tasks that develops you as a person.

Kosan Gas in the Nordic countries supplies LPG in bulk and in Denmark also in bottles.
