At our R&D facility in Västberga, Stockholm, we are approximately 150 employees from more than 30 nationalities working with cutting tool material development. For our customer focused team of engineers and project managers, we are now looking for a curious R&D Project Manager, whose main focus is to build long-term knowledge and ensure the delivery of our many projects. Key performance areas
As an R&D Project Manager you are responsible for cutting material development in the drilling and milling application area, where our main mission is to develop new solutions for the metal cutting industry. With a hands-on attitude, you manage projects concerning grade development and hold a key position in building long-term knowledge and supporting our ambitious strategies within your area of responsibility. You work closely with our customers and you participate in customer visits as part of our delivery. Furthermore, you contribute throughout the full process: from new ideas connected to market needs, hands on testing in our performance testing laboratory, cooperation with our production and finally, introducing finalized products to the market.
This position involves business travel.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Master's degree in a scientific field or a relevant technical area. You have a few years' experience from R&D as a technical project manager at a manufacturing company, and knowledge of cutting tool development or cutting material development is advantageous. Experience from roles within production or product management is also considered a plus. As we work in a global environment, you are fluent in English, both in speaking and in writing.
