The Opportunity:
We are looking for an R&D Product Owner to join our team at our Malmö office. Air traffic is doubling every 15 years growing at a rate of 4.4% annually. There is a 50% capacity shortage expected by 2035 in half of the worlds airports if nothing changes, utimately meaning that 237 mn passengers will not be able to fly in 2035.
As a Product Owner at ADB SAFEGATE, you will be instrumental in driving the development of innovative products that shape the future of aviation. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize the product backlog, and ensure our solutions meet business objectives. With a focus on market research and performance optimization, you'll play a critical role in keeping us ahead of industry trends. Leading agile ceremonies and making data-driven decisions, you'll ensure that our products consistently deliver the highest value to our global partners and customers
The ideal candidate will have experience in most of these areas, but if you check some of the boxes you are also welcome to apply:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in embedded software development.
Strong understanding of embedded systems, including hardware-software integration.
Proficiency in agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with product lifecycle management and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about product development.
