We are seeking a motivated Trainee / Junior Product Quality Engineer to join our Counter Balanced (CB) Product Line. This role offers an exceptional hands-on learning opportunity within a global engineering and quality organization, working closely with Product Quality, Supplier Quality, Product Support, Production, and R&D.
You will support quality analytics, supplier reclaiming, warranty data interpretation, field issue investigation, and improvements across the product lifecycle from component quality to machine-level performance in the field.
This role is ideal for students or early career professionals with a strong interest in engineering, quality assurance, product development, and data-driven improvement.
What are your key responsibilities:
Quality Metrics & Dashboard Production: Produce quality metrics and dashboards, interpreting trends in failures, warranty cases, and field performance.
Product Deviation & Root-Cause Analysis Support: Support analysis of product deviations, recurring issues, and root-cause patterns to prioritize engineering actions.
Warranty Data Transfer & Case Handling Coordination: Assist in the data transfer from customer warranty systems to supplier quality systems to ensure accurate and traceable case handling.
Customer Issue Investigation & Corrective Action Support: Support investigation of customer issues, including field failure trends, corrective actions, and documentation improvements.
Cross-Functional Quality Improvement Project Support: Assist in cross-functional projects linking R&D, Production Quality, Supplier Quality, and Product Line to embed long-term quality improvements.
Quality-Driven Product Update & Documentation Support: Work with Product Management, Product Support, Supplier Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to support quality-driven product updates, documentation, and improvement actions.

What you bring to the role:
Educational Background: Started a University degree, preferably in Engineering.
Language & Communication: Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and a strong communicator with a business-driven mindset.
Professional Skills: Strong collaboration capabilities, effective networking skills, and experience with change management and personnel management.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with Excel/Google Sheets, experience with SalesForce, experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram), including the administration parts for sponsorship activation, possess a basic understanding of Google Adwords and Analytics, proficient in MS Suite, with Google Suite being a plus.
Desirable Assets: Strong interest in digital marketing, experience in SalesForce (repeated for emphasis), familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, familiarity with Google Adwords (repeated for emphasis), experience with CMS (EPI).
