The position:
In our new factory in Helsingborg we roast, fry, coat and flavor all nuts that are used in our fine blends. As Quality Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality work in our factory. You will lead improvement processes and update quality records as well as being involved in product development together with our Product Managers. The Quality Manager at present reports to our General Manager and will work closely together with our Production Manager.
Job Description:
• Develop, document and maintain the company's Quality Assurance Systems according to standards as HACCP; BRC, etc.
• Continuously validate, correct and further develop and refine the Quality Assurance Systems
• Act as project leader for the Quality Development Teams and continuously report to company management on the progress
• By teaching, instructing, monitoring and spot checks secure that the Quality Assurance Systems are implemented, observed and working well in the organization.
• Make risk assessments; identify control points, set threshold values, etc
• Define methods and techniques for quality control, - implement and monitor
• Secure that products, packaging and labeling are in conformance with legislation and market standards and that traceability is upheld
• Make supplier assessments and manage Quality related issues with customers, authorities and other institutions
• Coordinate the outsourcing of Quality Control tests.
• Be involved in product development together with the Product Managers
• Report uncorrected deviations to company management
• You will have the authority to stop reception, production, repacking and deliveries of products that do not fulfill stated Quality requirements

Qualifications:
• You have a relevant academic education, preferably within Chemistry and with a focus on Food Technology.
• You have several years of experience form working as a QA in the food industry.
• Prior experience as a Quality Manager is an advantage
• Work experience in product development and/or food processing is an advantage
• We expect solid knowledge as well as certification in HACCP, BRC, etc
• You master both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
• We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
As a person you are dependable and stress tolerant. You have the ability to influence and lead other. You have a flexible mind when it comes to problem solving. You have good interpersonal skills.
About the company:
Moussa Rifai opened his first store in Lebanon, Beirut in 1948. The store was only 6 square meters, but housed everything imaginable concerning nuts. Today the company is family owned, still with large market shares in Middle East, and with his grandson as president of the Swedish and European market.
What we do today at Alrifai Nutisal AB is quite simple, we have modernized 500 year old know how to roast nuts and seeds and season them to taste. January 2008, we took a big leap into the retail sector and launched a line of prepackaged nuts for the Swedish market with one goal; To make a difference!
