Tetra Pak Inventing AB in Fjällbacka is now hiring for the position Quality Engineer where we a looking for a driven person with a deep interest in technology for the quality engineering activities within Additional Materials - Strips & Film. We manufacture plastic film and strips for Tetra Pak's various packaging systems.

In this position, you are maintaining and improving the process for strips and film production.
You will participate in and drive many interesting improvement teams which will give you the possibility to develop a deep understanding of areas such as quality, equipment, material, methods and production processes.

Main responsibilities

• Lead the work with supplier and customer issues
• Initiate and drive improvement teams to reduce quality losses
• Drive teams to specify and implement new material and equipment
• Support our production teams in their work with quality improvements.
Maintain and develop Management system and certification.
• Participate in our development activities to prevent quality losses.

Qualifcations

• Technical background preferably mechanical or electrical on a high school or university degree level
• 1-2 years hands on quality experience (solving issues for customers and suppliers) in industrial environment where you have gained process know-how;
• 1-2 years of technical working experience
• Experience of Lean Production or Six Sigma is an advantage; Automation experience is also an advantage.
• Excellent command in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.

To be successful in this role you need to be result oriented with a high inner drive. You are a true team player and possess excellent communication skills.
