Klarna is looking for a QA Engineer to the office in Stockholm.

Klarna is seeking Engineers to join it?s software Quality Assurance department. The QA department is responsible for the managing, coordinating and ensuring that software releases meet Klarna?s quality standards working across all levels of engineering to identify risks and areas where quality can be improved. They coordinate across development teams to ensure that testing covers the necessary areas and highlight any gaps that may exist. The QA department works upon a basis of continual improvement that requires good communication and fast feedback to development so that we always meet our SLAs and KPIs for the engineering department.

Klarna is looking for experienced QA Engineers who are used to working with developers to feedback QA information and metrics from the different testing stages of the deployment pipeline to improve quality. They need to analyze and identify specific ways that testing can be improved and work with developers to make this happen. Klarna also works with Agile development and TDD where QA members assist in this area by working with Product Owners to define testing requirements early on in the process.

Required skills

Must have:
• 3-5 years experience
• Software/computer engineering or computer science degree
• Excellent Linux background?
• Excellent qualifications with QA and software testing processes (ISTQB preferably)
• Excellent problem analysis and pattern recognition skills
• Experience with a variety of testing tools, methodologies and infrastructure

Preferrable:
• Previously worked with complex proprietary IT systems
• Experience with Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery
• ITIL/ITSM qualifications or experience?
• ISTQB Expert qualification
• Experience with TDD
• Experience with scrum and kanban
• Some programming experience is beneficial (especially Erlang)
