We are seeking a seasoned QA Engineer to take ownership of quality assurance across several development and localization streams. This is a strategic role that combines hands-on testing, leadership, and cross-functional coordination.
In this position, you will shape and implement a comprehensive QA approach tailored to a campaign or product area. You'll be responsible for test strategy, planning, execution, and release coordination. Your work will involve managing testing efforts, supporting internal testers, monitoring release status, and handling issue resolution and stakeholder communication.
Collaboration is key - you'll work closely with engineering, product teams, and localization to foster a structured and transparent quality process. The role also includes identifying opportunities for automation and enhancing visibility into testing coverage and release health.
Your Profile
5+ years of experience leading QA efforts or managing releases in a product-driven environment
Technically proficient, with hands-on experience using CI/CD tools, version control systems, and automated testing frameworks
Strong understanding of release operations, able to plan and execute reliable rollouts
Skilled in issue tracking and prioritization using platforms like Jira, with a structured approach to triaging bugs alongside R&D teams
Familiarity with localization QA and experience working with external vendors
Self-motivated, organized, and able to identify areas for improvement without direct supervision
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Nice to Have
Experience working with crash and exception monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry, Backtrace)
Ability to write and analyze SQL queries, preferably in environments like BigQuery
