Purchasing assistant Scania Purchasing, Group Purchasing IT Systems

Scania Purchasing is responsible for the purchase of products and services to all of Scania's units worldwide and providing value to our customers by supplying products to the right Technology, Quality, Delivery and Cost with focus on Sustainability. Due to increased demands and several new approved initiatives and projects we would like to extend our team with an assistant.

You will be a member of the team Purchasing IT Systems. The team is a part of the department Projects, Strategy and Regions that consists of six teams in Sweden and three teams abroad. The department assures the upholding and continuous development of methods, strategies, processes and systems/tools as global lead function within Scania Group Purchasing. Furthermore we represent the different Purchasing Regions. We are looking for you

Job description
You will act as an assistant for the complete department. In your role you will support the groups in their daily tasks where high service level is the key. You manage challenges, sees opportunities, contribute to the development of the organization and when necessary you manage own tasks. You are working closely together with the department secretary.

Typical tasks for the role are follow ups, updating data bases, invoice handling, travel coordination and handling orders of different types. Since you will use the Microsoft Office package and other internal data systems accurate computer skills are a must.

Your profile
We are looking for a communicative, positive and driven person, who are structured, organized and service minded.

You probably have experience from business administration and are able to handle a high tempo and keep the service level towards several groups at the same time.

You speak and write fluent in Swedish and English and have experience in different computer systems, including a stylistic ability in terms of presentations in e.g. PowerPoint.
