hela Sverige We are now looking for an experienced colleague to our Purchasing Department where you will have an important and critical role for our production and after sales department.
The position
As a Purchaser you will collaborate with suppliers to ensure execution to planned orders and schedules as well as resolve issues with suppliers to ensure material availability for facility production. You work closely with the facility production schedulers and operations personnel to support facility production and point of use material availability.
What will you do
In your role you will ensure the timely delivery of materials to the facility, collaborating with suppliers to coordinate deliveries, shipping schedules and work schedules to meet facility production plans. Using supplier collaboration technologies, collaborates with suppliers and operations to plan delivery of material for production.
As our Purchaser you actively collaborates with suppliers to perform root cause corrective actions to resolve quality and supplier performance issues. This work may require planning for alternate manufacturing methods and requires the ability to communicate effectively across multiple functions both in- and outside of the company.
Who you are
We believe that you are service minded and driven by achieving excellent results. You have the capability to work independently but also like to work and contribute in a team. You have good networking and communication skills and understand the importance of good service. To build and maintain successful relations comes natural to you.
As background you have relevant experience within:
• Purchasing
• Negotiations
• Supplier agreements
• Material planning
Preferably you have a post-secondary education or else a vast experience within purchasing. At Caterpillar we use Monitor as our ERP system and we expect you to have knowledge in that or similar and also have good knowledge in MS Office. A requirement for the role is that you are fluent in English and fluent Swedish will be a plus. You have good MS Office knowledge.
To be able to move between our three sites you need to have a driving license.
