Our Sourcing team are now looking for an experienced, structured and meticulous Purchaser who thrives in an operative as well as people centric role in a rapidly changing environment.
About the job
Our Sourcing department has the role to lead and execute the required, necessary sourcing activities in Exeger ranging from strategic to operational, for production, in-direct, services, machines etc. to meet Exeger's goals as well as customer and suppliers' expectations. As a Purchaser at Exeger you will be responsible for order placement and order follow-up of planned materials to already procured suppliers. You will handle material shortage and proactively work so that they do not occur as well as working close to our suppliers in order to drive home new materials. In addition, you will contribute to our growth and development by implementing routines and processes within your field.
Other responsibilities: (not limited)
Order management on daily basis
Follow up on orders and deliveries
Manage escalation of late orders at supplier, and expedite to get material home
Independently have supplier meetings for follow-up of delivery plans
Handle returns, complaints and other order deviations and communicate forecasts
Continuously contribute to the development of our purchasing and supporting processes

To succeed in this role you have strong people and communication skills and can easily create professional relationships, both internally within the organization and externally with suppliers and vendors. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you easily can shift focus and you thrive in an environment where all processes and routines are not in place. You have a problem-solving attitude, an eye for details and you like working with a large amount of data in an operative role.
Qualification:
5+ years' experience in a Purchasing role
Purchasing training and/or education
Knowledge of some ERP system, preferably MS Navision as well as great knowledge of Excel and MS Office
Preferably you have great technical competences and a background in chemicals, plastics or equivalent
Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
