To increase the speed, we are now recruiting a Public technology collaboration manager to pursuit public projects with customers, partners, academia and authorities. You will be in charge of developing networks, internally and externally and leading public projects. You will develop best practice for collaboration between Volvo Penta and external partners in the technology development area to leverage RnD investments, accelerate innovation, and to solve societal challenges. Key Responsibilities
As Public technology collaboration manager you will have the following key responsibilities:
Establish a network with relevant partners (such as authorities, corporations, suppliers, customers and academic institutes) in strategic technology areas
Identify, build and lead public projects including writing applications, administrating reporting and securing coordination with all parties
Set and deliver strategy for public project portfolio including setting and following up on KPI:s
Develop best practice for public projects
Develop a way of working with academic institutes to increase synergies and learning opportunities from the research arena
Act as a competence hub for the organisation supporting activities related to academia and public collaborations
Drive strategic initiatives within the CTO Office function
Competences and skills
Network and cross-functional work skills - strong communicator, good interpersonal skills and inspirational
Agency - self-organizing, with skills to structure individual work and complex assignments for reporting purposes
Experience - from working in networks of various stakeholders or with public funding, experience from new technology areas such as electromobility, digitalization or autonomous solutions
