We are now looking for a Project Manager Health & Safety with experience in IT Projects
The HS department, belonging to Staff Functions at Vattenfall Group, is responsible for developing and driving the strategic and tactical agenda for Health and Safety in Vattenfall in close cooperation with the different Business Areas. The department also provides qualified strategic and tactical support to the operations within work environment, health/wellbeing and occupational health care. The department consists of a Center of Excellence team and country H&S managers with country teams. The HS Staff Function consists of 33 employees as a whole and is spread across Sweden, Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands.
As our Project Manager H&S you will initially predominantly work on the implementation of a new EHSQ system within Vattenfall. In general, the position will develop, prepare and align Vattenfall (Group) wide, strategic H&S initiatives, concepts and measures of improvement that add value to the business and contribute to the overall H&S strategy and goals. The role will also support and counsel Staff Function and other Business Areas in H&S matters such as; incorporating initiatives into the BA Business plan, to achieve H&S ambition levels.
What will you do?
In addition to general support of activities in the area of safety and health, compliance with laws and regulations, networking, collaboration, stakeholder management in various forums, and providing training on H&S, as a Project Manager H&S you will be involved in:
Independently initiating, setting up, and managing international H&S (IT) projects, such as replacing the EHSQ system
Promoting and supporting the implementation of the World Class H&S strategy
Acting as the H&S expert within national and international projects and change processes
In consultation with the H&S Expert, managing Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E), the Emergency Response Organization (BHV), and ISO 45001 activities for shared office environments
Developing and delivering briefings, training sessions, e-learnings, and instructions (H&S focus areas and systems in use)
Providing information and advice, both requested and unsolicited, to (senior) management of all staff departments and BA Markets on H&S matters
Coaching other H&S experts and business experts
Preparing and developing reports. Report analysis and advising management
Developing, implementing, and/or optimizing procedures and tools related to H&S within shared office environments

The role has a strong international scope and will report into the H&S Manager Netherlands.
The location preferably is Amsterdam, yet Berlin or Stockholm are also an option. Regular travelling to the Vattenfall countries will be required.
Functie-eisen
Who are you?
As our Project Manager H&S, you have a proactive and flexible attitude. You are a good communicator, collaborative and comfortable in your stakeholder management skills. You are also decisive, solution-oriented, and have a structured way of working.
Next to this you have:
extensive (7-10 years) of relevant work experience in operational safety management and Health & Safety matters.
Project Management experience, with at least 5 years in a project leader role in complex IT projects.
Proven ability to handle and drive initiatives/change in international matrix organizations.
Knowledge of Intelex is a plus
Strong communication skills in English and preferably in Dutch, both verbal and in writing. Language skills in Swedish and/or German are a plus.
