We are looking for a Project Supply Manager. In this position you will work closely together with the client's Development & Engineering organisation, be part of a Core Team set-up, and with the clients suppliers, providing value to the client's customers through focus on Performance (Quality, Cost and Delivery), Standardization and People Engagement.
The client is responsible for the manufacture and supply of machines and distribution equipment from receipt of order until performance is achieved at the customer?s site. The team primarily interfaces with the Development & Engineering organization to define and achieve its project targets. They are responsible for organizing, managing and driving technology/development related sourcing, which contributes to the delivery of new machines to the client's customers at the right quality, time and cost.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
• Participate in and develop the early project involvement of Supplier Management
• Secure and drive guidelines, method and implementation of cost analysis
• Sourcing and contracting of potential suppliers
• Negotiate, plan and execute supplier audits and risk assessments to secure Project and Supply Chain aspects in short and on a long term perspective
• Secure Agreement coverage within confidentiality, Intellectual Property Rights protection and legal compliance for the projects within the platform
The person we are looking for has at least 3 years experience from similar tasks within development and manufacturing of complex products. You will take a leading role in several important projects and therefore it is essential that you have project management experience. We believe that you have a University degree within a technical discipline. You are fluent both in written and spoken English and a talented Excel user. SAP skills are beneficial.
To be successful in this position you need to have strong communication and networking skills. Further you need to have the ability to motivate others and to influence at all levels in the organisation. You enjoy problem solving as well as taking initiatives and driving activities independently.
