About us
The Project Portfolio Manager within the Global Information Services (GIS) organization is part of the Project Management Office (PMO) that delivers IT projects and programs for the Husqvarna group. You report directly to the manager of this department.
PMO today provides a basic portfolio management and reporting that is focused on the financial aspects. The aim is to include parameters like benefits, strategic alignment, risks, resource capacity, complexity and dependencies into the management of the portfolio as well as into the recommendations to GIS management to provide a better basis for decision and prioritization.

You will be joining a highly skilled team of 10 colleagues that consists of internal and external project managers, program managers, business analysts, a project portfolio manager, a test manager, an organizational change manager and a PMO services resource.
We are an international team striving to deliver high quality and value to our customers as well as continuously improving our services to GIS and Husqvarna Group as a whole. In this role you will therefore be given the opportunity to make a real impact through building a partnership with the business we support.

Your main tasks
Manage GIS project portfolio(s)
Continuously manage, lead, develop and evaluate the portfolio management together with the team and our stakeholders in order to add most possible value.
Align programs and projects to strategic goals of the Group, the Business Divisions and GIS
Manage financials, benefits, risks, capacity, complexity, dependency and strategy alignment of the portfolio
Measure, rank and support prioritization of projects
Evaluate the performance of the portfolio
Prepare, facilitate and lead portfolio governance board(s)

Your profile
We believe that you are a person with a passion for portfolio management and IT governance in a strategic business context with a strong personal drive and appetite to challenge, improving and developing yourself
We also believe that you're driven by a strong willingness to drive and implement change in an fast paced environment where you will work on developing the portfolio management to the next level.
Since this role is a senior role with contact to senior stakeholders of the organization including GIS management it requires that you have at least 5 years of relevant experience.

You should also have:
Proven experience within IT project portfolio management
Excellent communication skills
Strong financial management skills
Experience with driving change initiatives
Very good English language skills, preferable Swedish in addition
