hela Sverige You will lead defined NPD projects within the Malibu & Kahlua Operations team for Malibu, Kahlua, ABSOLUT MIXT as well as bulk shipment of TAC brands.
The Operations Malibu & Kahlua team is looking for a New Product Development Manager.
In this role, you will lead defined New Product Development projects for Malibu, Kahlua, Absolut Mixt as well as bulk shipment of The Absolut Company brands. You will be responsible for the Operations time plan for a defined project in terms of:
• Dry, wet and production set up linked with legal control needed for packaging and production accordance with set up policy for the brand
• Initiate exploration and implementation of liquid, packaging, and production with co-packer directors
• Coordinate operations costs in terms of development costs, CAPEX, stock depletion and CoGs in coordination with Operation Finance Director
Overall key responsibilities:
Time plan (dry, wet and production)
• Set up a project definition for Operation for defined projects
• Participate in the Global marketing teams project meetings
• Maintain strong working relationships with co-packers, suppliers, and Pernod Ricard market companies to ensure both optimum focus and commitment is a priority, as it pertains to The Absolut Company, in a challenging fast-paced environment.
Concept & Exploring phase
• Ensure New Product Development internal procedures and process that are respected and provide recommendation on process optimization driving continuous improvement to concept and ideas surrounding projects for liquid development, packaging design (bottles, labels, etc.) and/or other product changes (i.e. reformulations, line extensions)
• Provide operational insight to projects teams with regards to process (timelines, budgets, project request forms, packaging request forms and operational constraints projects
• Coordinate Wet Goods development as part of New Product Development together with Operations team build risk analyses for defined projects linked to their time plan provide recommendation on process optimizing Delivery phase (Industrialization)
• Lead the work to set the time plan including activates needed for the delivery phase of the project in cooperation with co-packer director/manager, co-packer suppliers, purchasing, quality and Pernod Ricard Affiliates teams
• After first production hand over the project to the Co-packing team and make a summary report of the project including cost and leanings.
Position based in Stockholm
ABOUT YOU
• Critical to have a background in project management and excellent multi-tasking skills to be able to work with many levels of management and multiple business units while balancing various project deadlines and driving results in an evolving and fast-paced environment.
• Operational background with experience in liquid development, supply chain management and customer service preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Fluent in English and require some engineering experience
• Critical to understand branding and good knowledge of the spirit industry
• The position requires minimum 5 years' experience - and it's a benefit to have experience from liquid development and production background
• A background with in the can industry is a benefit
• Willing to travel 30%
