Material markets are among Perstorp's most dynamic. Perstorp has solutions to address many of those markets demands like better sustainability, better end product performance and better EHS-profile. The material group has successfully developed a number of new products and solutions with substantial business opportunities like a phthalate free plasticizer, Akestra, Capa based products and products for feed.

The material group needs to be strengthen with a project manager in order to develop new opportunities into running businesses. You will together with other stakeholders in our business scout ideas and find business clients for projects that you will lead.

The project manager is a key position to develop a business idea or business concept into a running business. As a project manager you will run development projects and major development tasks all the way from idea to it is fully commercial and thereby manage R&D, market development and initial production activities.

You can expect a broad and challenging job with many interfaces within and outside the company. The job includes some travelling to customers and partners, but the majority of the time is spent in Perstorp.

Your main tasks will be:
• Manage development projects
• Scout business ideas
• Make technical feasibility studies
• Market analysis to build business cases that is the base for new development projects
• Close collaboration with business client that will take over the responsibility when the project is fully commercial

To be successful in this position you shall be:
• Triggered by high pace and running different types of projects
• Entrepreneurial with a strong drive to develop a successful innovation project into a running business
• Interested in and able to analyze and learn new applications
• Ability to find internal and external information to turn in to plans and actions
• Strategic thinking
• A structured leader for projects

Education and experiences required
Technical academic degree in chemistry, food & feed or polymers with more than 5 years of experience from Business, Innovation or Marketing and experiences of managing Innovation from another company or as a PhD.
