About the position
We are looking for a Project Manager in Industrial Engineering for our client, a world-leading supplier of transport solutions that together with its customers and partners drives the transition to a sustainable transport system. You will be based in the office located in Södertälje, with the opportunity to work partly remotely. The work is conducted closely with production partners and business trips abroad may occur.
Your daily tasks
You will be part of a team that explores a new area within Production & Logistics, developing the process for in-house production of batteries for electric vehicles. They are looking for a highly competent and flexible team player, who is dedicated to a sustainable future.
As a project manager, the main tasks include:
Participation in the execution of the initial feasibility study. Work with strategic tasks related to equipment, investments, logistics and development of process and product.
Preparation and implementation of project plans.
Conducting various analyses, risk assessments and other evaluations after PD and investment processes.
Participation in the process of acquiring new production lines which includes work with requirements specification of equipment and product, evaluation of production concepts, etc.
Prepare and implement plans for sub-projects together with selected suppliers.
You will work with several other units as well as external parties and be asked to present material to management teams at all levels of the company.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or MSc in Engineering and at least 5-6 years of experience in project management, industrial engineering, logistics development or similar work experience
Ability to communicate freely in speech and writing, both Swedish and English
Meritorious
Work experience from a production and logistics environment
Contract type and hours
Full-time, consulting assignment for 6 months, with the possibility of extension. Start as soon as possible.
