Since Formox began licensing its process technology in 1966 more than 120 plants based on the Formox process have been built by our clients in more than 40 countries, on all continents except Antarctica! Wholly owned by Perstorp, and world leaders in formaldehyde technology, we supply know-how, plants, catalysts and technical support. In order to meet an increased sales volume of catalyst, the catalyst production plant will be expanded over the next coming years, and we now seek to employ an additional Project Manager to handle the expansion projects.
Your role within the Formox project department will be project management and coordination of engineering, procurement and construction of expansion projects in the catalyst production plant. You will be based in the Formox head office in Perstorp, Sweden.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
• Lead, organize, prioritize and monitor the project teamwork in the catalyst plant projects.
• Manage and coordinate activities to accomplish on-time, on-budget delivery of the project objectives
• Responsible for planning and execution of the equipment purchasing in the projects, in collaboration with colleagues and project team.
• Development and follow-up of project budget and targets.
• Participation in the engineering execution.
• Participation in continuous development of the catalyst production plant.
In addition to the expansion projects in the catalyst plants you will also partly assist in the license projects of supplying formaldehyde plants worldwide.
The suitable candidate should have an engineering certificate, experience from Project Management and minimum five years of experience in engineering design, preferably within the process or manufacturing industry, and be fluent in English. Essential capabilities are technical skills, service-minded approach, a high degree of flexibility and an ability to work with others, good negotiation skills, ability to reach objectives with large extent of your own involvement in the engineering. Drive, commitment and proactive attitude, being able to grasp responsibility and also an active approach to troubleshooting is natural to you.
Experience from project procurement activities of process equipment and engineering in any CAD-system, would of course be an advantage.
