What will you do?
Our central team for Ports & Terminals supports our local Terminal teams. In this role you get the chance meet and cooperate with people across our ports in Europe. You will be a project leader and trainer as well as support while implementing systems, processes and drive best practice between our regions. As Project Manager it is your responsibility to develop detailed project plans, track progress and ensure in-time delivery and within the right scope. You will report to the Port and Terminal Development Manager assisting in developing project scopes and objectives, involve relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility as well availability of resources. Expect to spend a lot of time out in our ports around Europe.
Some of your key responsibilities:
• Develop implementations plans for new group systems and processes
• Daily contact with Key Users on our terminals and ensure the projects are anchored locally
• Keep track of our projects, steps and status, document and communicate to stakeholders.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Collaborate and manage the relationship with local terminals, relevant stakeholders and third parties/vendors
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope
• Assisting in procurement coordination within area Ports & Terminals with participation in Stena Line procurement cluster
Who are you?
At Stena Line your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do. We are in need of someone that know how to interact with our staff and has a good ability to lead projects. You know how to think in flows and processes while motivating others to solve challenges and tasks with digital help. We believe you have a solid education and some practical work life experience from transport or logistic companies, advanced IT and know stages of project management and implementing new routines.
You will get to travel between our regions on a regular basis meeting and assisting your new collages in our Ports & Terminals across Europe.
