As a Project Manager within the Supply Chain area you will be responsible for managing cross-functional projects as a member of the Supply Chain Development team. You will play a key role in developing the Supply Chain.
Key responsibilities
• Scoping and Planning of cross-functional Projects in the Supply Chain area (Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics)
• Management of Supply Chain Projects. The project teams can be combined of different functions from the Supply Chain as well as from other areas within our organisation.
• Drive the development of Supply Chain concepts for example as part of New Product Introductions (make versus buy analysis, supplier set up, distribution set up, regional footprint etc.)
Experiences and skills
• University degree in Economics or Engineering (or equivalent)
• At least 3 years working experience preferably in a Supply Chain function (such as Sourcing and Logistics)
• Proven experience in Project Management; the knowledge of a Project Methodology will be appreciated
• A proven track record of delivering results in a cross-functional and international environment
• Strong conceptual skills to transfer challenges into solutions
• Fluent in English, spoken and written. Other languages are appreciated
The successful candidate should also have
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A personal passion for driving development and improvements
• As our team delivers Project Management for different parts of the
Supply Chain the candidate has to be an open-minded team player and able to gain trust within the different functions.
• Willingness to travel as this role drives the development of our worldwide Supply Chain further
