Volvo Penta is happy to announce that we are now recruiting a Project Coordinator within Engine Calibration and Development.

About us:
The Engine calibration and Development unit within Product Development is responsible for testing and optimization of all our Diesel Engines within the industrial and marine segment. Our engineers work within projects with tasks such as engine performance, emissions optimization, durability and project management.
Our unit is today divided into four departments, Marine, Field Test, Industry MDEP and Industry HDEP. We are about 80 engineers working together in different development projects.
As a Project Coordinator you will be responsible for planning and coordinating engines and components within one or several projects.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Support the Project Manager Verification, PMV, with planning, booking test cells etc.
• Ensure that test objects are available according to plan
• Create and follow up on work orders
• Close communication with engineers, work shop, design department, internal and external test sites
• Owner of test meetings

Competence Profile:
• Talent for planning and following up - A major part of your daily routines will be based on good planning. A good material flow is key in terms of both test cell and project efficiency
• High networking skills - You have the ability to create relationships as well as finding and spreading information
• Good communication skills, written and oral - You understand the importance of communicating with people and strive for clarity
• Basic engine knowledge - You will coordinate engines and parts. Engine knowledge will be an asset in your daily work
